No its actually mechanically better for the car not to run with DOD. As DOD causes lifter failures. There is a range unit you can buy to disable DOD and it can just be unplugged if you were to sell the car and does not violate warranties or anything. Even in cases where DOD is not deleted, tuners disable the DOD in tunes specifically as a matter of tuning etiquette.

Secondary cat deletes are illegal. Federally you can't remove or move emissions equipment. But you can replace them with an approved performance component if that makes sense.
