Unlike my last car, this cars A/C is staying!

A battery is easy weight reduction and it won't hurt. I'll take a little weight reduction anywhere off the car as long as it's easy but I am not turning this car into a tin can

Not only that, but if you want to run your cooling fan, intercooler pump, etc at the track, you won’t be doing that for long on a 24 AH battery.
Also true.

Thanks. I was just wondering what kind of issues you may of had with the 40a to opt for the 60a if you did it all over. But it sounds like you have more electrical things to worry about. Are you talking about running those electrical things with the motor off?
The 60a isn't a problem lol, It's just that if I personally was going to spend money like that for a battery I would want to make it count and get the most weight reduction as possible. So I was trying to figure out if I would be able to get away with the 40a at least. Would be nice to have the 24a though.
I run the a/c in my car and the stereo is hooked up through my phones bluetooth for music. No onstar (fuse is pulled) or any of that crap lol. When my car is not being driven, the battery is disconnected. So there's definitely no power draw there. Idk man, just being greedy lol , trying to get an idea of what I can get away with and plus the lighter one is cheaper
