So you're talking about getting the 40 amp? I just weighed my stock battery 5 times and it was 45.4LBS but I'm assuming you're talking about the 40 amp.
The 40 AH battery netted me a solid 30 pound weight savings. The 60 AH would not be far behind either. Not sure why that’s a problem? These cars have a ton of electronics, this isn’t a ‘69 Camaro lol. Not only that, but if you want to run your cooling fan, intercooler pump, etc at the track, you won’t be doing that for long on a 24 AH battery.
