When I had my ZL1, I experimented with cutting the bottom of the airbox out. Got more supercharger whine for sure but also got higher IATs at idle from sucking in hot engine air.

Unfortunately, there's not enough material on the fender side of the ZL1 air box to make an opening like there is with the BW.
