As stated no significant difference in performance on a stock vehicle but oiled can be serviced forever. That makes oiled superior in my opinion. I would also say there is a point where oiled likely DOES flow more than dry since the Big Gulp which is designed for high HP applications only comes with an oiled filter. For stock applications though, the standard Rotofab comes with both filter options since both flow more than enough air for a stock engine.
