I really like the shape and material of The Hybrid knob; it's tempting. However, after learning how heavy the OEM shift knob is @ 0.90 lb, I have a feeling I won't like something lighter, especially after using the 1.4 lb Raceseng Slammer knob.

Here's my take on the weight. I swapped a TKO-600 into my old Iroc, and it was notchy. Bought the trans from a friend, and we both had a lot of seat time. Got a weighted knob, and it really helped, we both agreed. Fast forward to now, and I really like the weighted Raceseng, and you can tell it's weighted, but the trans isn't really notchy at all. Pretty smooth, especially after it's warm. I drove with the non weighted Barton knob, and while I didn't like the "non" weighted in my garage, once on the road I didn't really notice. I swapped back and forth between the two a few times and the first few shifts with the Raceseng were nice, but again, after a few shifts, you no longer noticed. Just my two cents. -and the Barton is LIGHT!!!!!!
