I test drove a '19 gs Vette before my Camaro. That Vette is the best handling car I've ever driven. It also seemed to manage the LT1's power better. I think they look better, too.
Ultimately, I didn't want to spend that much, as the Vette was over 50% more $ (not saying they're not worth it). Plus, I'm tall, and the vette's cabin was more claustrophobic. I fit, but I sat in a Camaro right after driving the Vette, and I personally felt more comfortable in the Camaro.
