Update: the shifter I have is this one- Part #
3916031. That's the classic cueball shifter (it has a threaded top you can swap out for different sizes or styles). The 3916050 shifter I think uses a pistol grip on top, although there may be other options as well. It is the less expensive of the 2.

Update to the update: the threaded top does allow for a greater number of handle options. Like the classic Hurst 'T' handle which I had removed because it gets really hot here in summer (OK- everywhere!). But I'm talkin' "blister your hand hot" on aluminum objects like the shifter you gotta touch to go home! So I opted for the Epco smaller white ball with just a SS logo. But it's winter now, and I see the Hurst 'T' is $45 these days! Geez, talk about inflation-LOL.
