I have a 22 LT1 which is my first track car, and it also got me hooked on track days. I've been dealing with some brake issues as well, so here is some of what I learned:
1. The brake rotors are 345mm. My car has a build date of 11/21 and below is the measurement I just took
2. The 4 piston Brembos are the same as the C8 with Z51 package. I kept trying to buy new brake pads that were supposed to fit the LT1, but none ever did. I started buying the pads that were supposed to fit the Z51 and those fit
3. Brake cooling isn't sufficient on the LT1. I added the track deflectors and rotor guards, but then I realized there's no airflow to the wheel well like there is for an SS. The SS has cooling ducts that catch air from the front grill and send it to the wheel well. The LT1 doesn't have those ducts, and also doesn't have the opening in the wheel well liner to allow the air in. I think this is the main reason the cooling isn't effective on the LT1
I bought the ducts online and I'm going to try to DIY the cooling system. Some part numbers attached for reference. I bought the SS ducts but can't tell you if they fit yet. I'll try to post a write up if it goes well
