Aftermarket Lifter Durability?

Greetings!

We are doing an upgrade to our 416 CI powerplant that uses a mild Cam Motion cam, Johnson 2110K (Katech) lifters and fairly firm PSI 1516 springs.

We've only got ~10K miles on the combination.

Any experience on when to send the lifters in for a refresh?

Previously in a 96 LT4 combination (Gen II) I hit ~50K on OEM lifters, Comp Cams roller rockers, fresh beehive springs and healthy GM 847 roller cam - at which point I mushroomed a valve tip. Comp Cam pointed to race engine parts - don't expect OEM reliability. Just curious what people expect.

Thanks.
