The reason I'm saying port injection is to get it on E85 and keep those ringlands intact at that power level. Laynlo15 did a real simple build with a magnuson 2300, port injection and boost a pump, went 9's in the 1/4 and 700 something hp on a stock engine. I would suggest following it. I hurt my crank before I could lean on my stock fuel system like you are trying to do and just went port when I did my cam, crank, rods and pistons. Beyond those things a converter will have the biggest impact on the way the car performs, even roll racing. I ran the stock converter for quite awhile and it was fun and fast on no prep but a whole nother world with a looser converter.
