Question 2017 m6 SS will not go into first

Hello all,
I have a 2017 M6 2SS that just hit 48000 miles. It’s been great so far and the TR6060 has also been great. Replaced stock tranny fluids on it about 15000 miles ago with royal purple. Earlier today I was driving home from the gym and the car would not go into first gear at all. It feels like it has a lock out that is engaged. Had to go from every red light in 2nd. Engine was at temp however because it’s a short drive there and back the trans was not over 100 degrees according to the performance page. (I unfortunately live in cali so it was about 63 degrees outside). Sometimes as I’m sure y’all know these transmission can be a little grumpy when they’re cold but never a complete gear lock out. Did some quick troubleshooting. I shut the car off and tried to get it into gear, no go. All other gears are fine. If I try to force it into gear with the clutch disengaged it will roll forward and the gears will grind. Tomorrow I plan to take it out and get the trans completely up to temp and see if it’ll fix itself.

Did some reading and the internet says that tremecs don’t have a first gear lockout however it feels like that. The shifter will start to go into first but won’t go further into gear. **update** got the trans up to temp, didn’t help. The issue is also in 5th gear. The car does not recognized that it’s going into either gear which makes me think it is not a synchro issue but an issue with the gear selecting. However interesting because there is not connection between 1 and 5. Pretty sure they are in two different compartments in the trans even.

I’m wondering if my synchros are not aligned somehow or if this is leading to a bigger issue. I did have an issue a couple weeks ago where I had to slam on my breaks when someone cut me off coming out of a parking spot. It got jammed in first because the car was almost stopped before the clutch was in. However that was about 400-450 miles ago and I haven’t noticed anything since. Hopefully the larger Camaro community might have some insights besides taking it to the dealership (don’t trust them).

Thanks all and appreciate your time
