You can write your own suspension programming based on any sensor the car has, and make programs that are venue specific. For its capabilities the price is very reasonable. the real issue is having the time, knowledge and resources to optimize your suspension. Most people can't handle having rebound and compression knobs let alone being able to adjust each shock individually based on 10+ inputs.
I don't think the baseline programming that comes with the DSC are worth it unless there's something specific you want to accomplish, otherwise making venue specific adjustments is the real benefit. You can make up significant amounts of time by tailoring the damping to the track or autox surface.
