Why did you have to replace your new pump already?

It's probably too long a story, and it's, still, not yet known. I don't know if it will ever be, honestly. I had it out 5-times. The second time was my fault (jet/venturi lines tangled with the float - wouldn't read a full tank of fuel). Third time - fuel wouldn't siphon the driver's side saddle (replaced the primary pump with a brand new one, just in case, because of running that pump dry a few minutes). Fourth time - replaced every hose I touched in the module, just in case there was a leak. Fifth time - new replacement module.
I couldn't get near a commanded pressure from the primary pump, even after replacing it with a new one. So far - the new one seems to be following commanded, but I haven't gotten out on the road yet.
It would be nice to hear what was found. I'm just curious. What a PITA... The thing I know I don't like is the tangle of fuel lines in this module. That was part of the problem. I know and appreciate why it is the way that it is, but it's a real PITA in connect the lines after that thing is in the tank. There is a new competitor that's out there, but at the price, I'm not sure it's worth it. I think it might be easier to install, but pictures only tell part of the total picture, and I don't know if my presumption is right. It's definitely a lot beefier. I don't know if it would fit all my conditions as close as it seems this Katech will though. My case is more "special" than 99% of the people here though.
