JL audio stealthbox
I installed a JL audio stealthbox and wanted the installation to be as clean as possible. First I bought another side panel so I wouldn’t cut up my original for the installation. I tied into the amp with a T-harness and an ANC bypass cable from T-harness.com. I hooked the harness up to a Wavetech link DQ. I used a 1/4” hardboard to make a mounting plate for the amp on the opposite side of the speaker. The amp is a JL XD600/1 v2. There were some holes in the body that I utilized for mounting the amp board. I used some rubber expansion nuts that I shaved down to fit the body holes which when tightened expand and will not come out. This also gave me some vibration dampening when the amp is mounted. Overall I am very happy with the installation and with the trunk open you can only see the speaker.
