Without a lap timer you wouldn't be able to tell but with my Aim2solo it's very clear. Pretty much every couple of corners I gain an extra red light on my timer.
Never tested RE71RS vs CRSV2's back to back so I can't comment on that. I bought the RE71RS once for rain but never really gave them an all out TT effort.

How are the sidewall stiffness of the CR-S v2 compared to the GY SC3?
I am getting the CRS-v2 for my 718 GT4 in a few weeks, and previously had the SC3's (but are vaporware in my stock sizes for 2 years now) and now am on AD09's (because they also have stiff sidewalls).
To date the best tire I have had on my car was the SC3 with the AD09's a close second. Both the OEM Cup 2's and Dunlop Maxx Sport Race II sucked IMO.
