Speaking of keeping clean, I cleaned the alcantara steering wheel and shifter today... I'm embarrassed at what came out! I swear I'm not a sweaty brute (Probably denial by the looks of it..). I end up cleaning it twice over a year period, with about 6,000km of driving for each
That was clear water before I wiped off all the Sonax and dirt it picked up. Clean your steering wheels, folks!
After It's dry I brush it with my natural bristle brush and it looks and feels like new again. The softness after a clean makes the pain in the ass upkeep also worth it (sounds kind of familiar... )
End result (yup, it's a steering wheel, but.. I think you can tell it looks clean?)

Agreed!

Do you have a link of the product(s), type(brand) of brush etc.. you used as well as step by step instructions for cleaning it? I'd like to file it away for when it's time to do mine.
