Welp…figured it out… after countless sleepless nights (just kidding) I figured it out! Turns out it’s not my suspension it’s not my shocks it’s not my wheel hubs…I recently put new brake pads and rotors on my car…mind you I have the 6 piston 1le brakes on my car so when I got the new rotors I purchased a set of z17 powerstop pads to eliminate the brake dust issue you get with the oem pads… you know that saying “all parts are not made equal” well this is a case of that. On my passenger side my pads were loose but not due to any install error or anything wrong just seems like they are maybe 1-2mm smaller in length then the oem pads or a set that is made correctly. The driver side pads don’t make any noise and seem to fit perfectly… I took the pads out and greased everything and re-installed them. Noise is gone for now…if it returns I will try the power stop pads again might upgrade to the z26 pads or just stick with acdelco pads. Let’s hope the noise doesn’t return.
Wish I would have checked all of this before ordering new sway bar end link bushings and new wheel hubs. Quick waste of $300 but I’ll just keep the wheel hubs for when it is time to replace them.
