Matte can't be polished/buffed/waxed successfully without giving it a glossier look. If you like the matte, your only option is to replace.

If you don't mind some sheen you can hide it with various products

-your favorite wax (mine is Collinite)
-CARPEO PERL diluted 1:5 will give it a satin finish

Worst case scenario if you try the above and don't like it, strip with with alcohol a few times and dawn dish soap.

I had mine rewrapped and the roof done.

I installed stealth PPF on the hood to prevent problems like the ones you're having and because I hate rock chips.
