Now my re71rs in not a 305, but 285/35 on that same wheel, had to be set in the sun to soften them up and also needed 100 lbs of air to seat them. No issues there but shows how stiff they are and not pinched. Also they are on a wheel almost max width and slightly stretched. This way they grip and handle great and do not have a lack of response. These tires are only a 1/2” less in actual tread width that is used vs the wide 305 nankangs that also run wide. I have a friend that has 305/30/19 re71rs’s on 11 wheels. Broken in vs my 96 run tires. In autocross he has gained no ground on me.yet anyway.
I bought a set of Bridgestone potenza RE050A, everytime I attempt to mount the oem ZL1 1LE wheels with those tires, there appears to be something blocking it, which throws me off since I don’t have MRC meaning that I should have enough clearance?
