It would be important to know why the pushrod broke? It is more common to bend one than break one.

The size speced and etched on the side of a pushrod is generally what is known as "gauge length" and will rarely match what you measure on a caliper.

Post pictures of your broken push rod. You need to measure for proper pushrod length in order to determine the size you need.
