Doesn't matter if you're comparing it to the stoc, SS shifter or the ss1le shifter. It's a completely different ball game.
Wouldn't recommend it to a new driver or as a daily driver. However, if you are an enthusiast and enjoy feedback with crisp shifting, it is for you.

I concur. I have a 1LE. I then jumped into friends SS LT1 with Hurst shifter. Afterward, my shift felt sloppy by comparison.
I definitely think the install is worth it. I just haven't felt compelled to do the work just yet.
