With stock LT1 pistons, the LT4 blower conversion is the most bang for the buck you can get. Swap in LT4 fuel parts as well so you can run ethanol blends and keep power in the car safely. I've tuned a few of these setups and the sweet spot seems to be E50-E60 with a 2.4 upper pulley on the LT4 blower. This will get you around 8-9psi, which is the max I would run on stock pistons if you can get ethanol or run meth. If you only have pump gas then I would stick to 7psi or so.
The bigger blowers are nice but take more torque to spin and the stock LT1 pistons can't handle the amount of power the aftermarket blowers can make in their sweet spot.
