I tested my replacement set i was sent while i had a wheel off. Installed no issue, cleaned and tightened as expected. Bleed with no issues. Closed the bleed valves and went in and stood on the brakes for a min for some constant pressure. Nice and firm, got happy for a sec. Then peaked back at the lines and saw attached.
This set is leaking about half as much as the previous ones but still doing it.
Reinstalled oem, via same process, and zero issues. Think i'm just gonna stay oem for now.

I considered this as well, but would be hard to test the theory.I never had issues threading and was similarly able to almost hand tight them but the flare is really whats in question for me.
