It's a firmware update for the module that controls the diff. However, it has nothing to do with fixing chatter, and it only affects the timing and rate of locking when all nannies are turned off and your below about 80mph. Therefore, it's not like to change much about the diff's track behavior. It was intended to improve its function for autocross use, and it succeeded at that.
