The reason why they don't blow up is because the knock sensors and ECM's logic has a much faster response time.

Now the kicker is, if your tuner goes into the tune and starts messing with all that shit by decreasing sensitivity, max retard, zero out burst knock, then you for sure don't want to be seeing any knock in the tune.
Sorry for the late reply, i have been busy as it gets! but i believe there is some desensitization but my tuner told me he doesn’t feel comfortable taking anymore out. He still wants to maintain a pretty solid safety net. We are both learning the tuning aspect together. How funny of us to wanna learn on an lt. But so far things have seemed to pretty good. We’d like to get it on a dyno but that isn’t an option for us currently. But the air to air intercooler sucks in my opinion. which is why i will soon be purchasing the air to water brick that’ll sit on my intake manifold. Currently i’m pushing 17.8 psi out of the d1x and man it is getting hot.

I don’t really wanna be dealing with meth though cause i’d rather just fill a nitrous bottle cause i have a local guy who sells it. That’s where the idea of just running nitrous with the blower came into play but we haven’t really discussed it much further than that.

If i did do that would you suggest a wet or dry kit? And would i just tap it into the charge pipe before the maf of what?
