Having had several trucks where side mirrors were only option to see anything not immediately beside or in front as well has huge A-pillar obstruction, I find no objectionable issues with either my 5th or 6th gen Camaro. Blind spot convex spot mirror and side mirrors adjusted properly and I'm totally comfortable.
But also totally understand others that wouldn't be (cough, my wife, cough)
