Is your filter wet (red) or dry (blue)? If red clean and re-oil as stated but if blue and that dirty might as well plan on dropping about $100 for a new one. Mine's dry and has been on the car since new but I only have 11k miles and aside from the first of couple of years only put about 800 miles per year on it. It still looks and performs like new so every year I say I'll give it another year. I just wonder if at some point the media breaks down? Oh well, guess I'll give it another year.
