[QUOTE=clg82;11418990]Hey everyone, getting my car back from Wragth motorsports today, and I have the itch to get back out onto a road course. I just moved here and the majority of the road courses i googled require a racing type of license. In cali we would just sign up with a club and go for the day. Any recommendations or suggestions on car clubs out here that do track days? Thanks for any help![/QUOTE

The SCCA Track Night events are usually held MID-WEEK and have the most OPEN format. The BEST learning HPDE group is APEX HPDE. The most stringent RIGID group is DRIVERS EDGE. This is run like a MARINE boot camp. The FASTEST group of drivers PROBABLY run NASA. The TIME TRIAL groups with APEX are very fast as well.

The FASTEST track is Eagles Canyon 2.7 CCW. They have track days that they themselves put together. The MOST expensive track experience will ALWAYS be anything having to do with COTA. The LEAST expensive track day will be a SCCA Track Night event at about roughly 175 dollar entry.
