Great question. Basically the pedal felt firmer and my foot had more "feel" in the top of the pedal stroke, just more connected to the front tires. As far as power, there is more stopping response in the 30-70% brake range. Same results with both Ferodo 3.12s and Cobalt X1s.
Same with my son's GTI and Elantra N.
I used GM DOT 4 on both my Camaros and never an issue.
