Edelbrock Customer Service???

My '17 is at the shop because of a thermostat issue - it was stuck open, triggering a P0128 code. Figures - it happened on the way to E-Check the car, so now I can't transfer my plates until it's resolved.

Anyway, the shop doesn't want to even start the job until they have a new gasket set for the supercharger in hand. They've tried calling Edelbrock customer service, but keep getting put on hold, so the work is at a dead stop.
I get that they can't sit on hold all day, so I called Edelbrock, and was promptly put on hold for 30 minutes, before I hung up and called back.

Turns out only ONE guy is handling tech support today, but they took my name and phone # and promised to call me back today - some time ...

I get that people don't want to work anymore and staffing is an issue everywhere, but come on now
