So, I have an open "Free oil" change with a GM dealer from when I bought my car. I've not used it, and don't plan to because I don't want my car in shop unless absolutely necessary. With that being said, I changed my own oil at 500 miles and ready to change it again at 2700 miles. Last time I used Mobil 1 Supercar Full Synthetic 0W-40 and a ACDelco PF64 filter. Would there be any reason to select a different oil vs just stick with what I've been using?

Just an FYI, the last dealership I took my car too when they were about to do my oil change almost put the European formula in. I called them out on it, and they mentioned since SuperCar wasn't available they were instructed (as all dealerships are according to them) to use that instead. I told them no thanks, i'll get my own oil.....
