Yet another Kill Switch solution

Since I don't trust myself NOT to mess something up, I contacted an aftermarket automotive wiring specialist that's very close to my house for an estimate on installing the kill switch.

Originally, I just had him give me a quote for splicing into the under hood fuse block and place a wire in the starter relay circuit, and I would finish the job from there. This guy is an extreme perfectionist and VERY concerned over his reputation, so it took him over 2 hours just looking at wiring diagrams and checking to make sure everything would be perfect in fit and function and that nothing bad would happen because of his work.

He found the perfect wire to splice (no CEL will be triggered) and plans to work on the underside of the fuse block, then put the new wire in a loom/sheath so that unless someone opened and traced every wire and KNOWS what they're looking at/for, they couldn't tell that anything was different from stock.

I've decided to go with a two-switch kill system, one a simple on/off switch and a second momentary on switch with a timed relay (the button and relay will activate the starter circuit for 10 - 20 seconds, then go dead again).

I'll semi-hide the on/off switch and put the temporary switch disguised, in a different location, so even if the normal switch is found, without activating the momentary switch/relay, the car still will not start.

I think that I'm looking at about $300 max for him to do the entire job. Cheap insurance IMO.
