Likely it is still transmitting who knows what back to GM.

And I am not convinced pulling the SpyStar fuse disables anything.

It has been proven that even if your cell phone is OFF, it can still be used to spy on you. Same thing is likely with SpyStar.

Best thing to do is remove the radio board from the module. It is the only way to be sure.

I removed mine and the fuse. And yet my car still has power to the SpyStar lights on my mirror.
