You're right Captain, gloss black only looks great when brand spanking new, and it feels cheaper and cheaper as it gets dirty and loses some of its shine over time.

Good call on the smaller diameter lug nuts, too. One thing I'd like to add is that I had those Gorilla lug nuts (with gloss black MRR 017s before I was finally able to get a true 1LE wheel set), and they started rusting at the edges very quickly, basically after 2-3 wheel-pop-and-reinstall "sessions". For the stock 1LE wheels I bought black McGard lug nuts, and they have been flawless ever since, for at least 2 years.
