The ZL1addons set looks good, but I don't want to use the metal barbed clips which looks like it would cause rust. The Rokblokz goes on without any modifications, but the huge washers and big stainless screws stand out like a sore thumb.

Of all of them the ACS are by far the best looking and look closest to OEM if GM had come out with rock guards. The rear go on without a hitch and even are molded to go around the ground effects on the ZL-1 without leaving a big gap. The same for the front. The only thing I don't like is that you need to drill three holes in the front liner. I really wanted to get by without drilling any holes. I'm just too particular in things like that, but I guess having three holes in the liner as opposed to getting paint chips, the holes are the lesser of the two evils. I may look into possible installing them using only 3M double sided tape. I've used that before and it is awesome.

Anyone ever install the ACS using 3M tape only and not drilling any holes?
I have the ACS on my ZL1 and couldn't be happier! I am like you as far as drilling into the liner. I am not what you'd call an excellent mechanic, so I was VERY worried about drilling and riveting the front ones into the liner.(Rears require no drilling/riveting)I just took my time(probably longer than most people do), made sure they were lined up properly with the grooves, drilled and riveted. They came out better than I thought my skills would allow and are very secure. . So basically what I'm saying is, if I can do it, anyone can!! .
Sorry. I can't speak on only using double sided tape since I took the plunge and drilled/riveted mine.
You'll be happy you went with the ACS. I have no regrets. .
I also agree, that you spend 70/80k on a car, don't cheat out on cheap stuff to protect it. I laugh at those that complain about $400 when they spend 70K or more on a car...not to mention, those that mod their cars are USUALLY spending way more than $400 for more power...
