I agree with getting PPF, but based on what you posted, I would be very careful picking the shop to do the work. Also you should warn them you want it to be perfect.
I've had PPF in the past with some flaws that annoyed me, and I'm generally not picky about my cars.
Oh, one other thing about PPF is when you apply wax or sealer, you want to make sure you don't get any on the edges of the PPF. It's hard to clean off the edges, and you will see the lines. I would tape the edges of the PPF prior to waxing, or stay far awau from them.
