So then all you're seeing now is the dual mode (battery / alternator) voltage gauge at work, as described in the manual and ctrlz's other post referenced above. As long as the displayed voltage drops to 12.5-12.7 V once the alternator is done charging it on a relatively longer drive, your battery is fully charged and working normally at that point.
