Exactly. GM had the chance to do a legit Z28 already and they didn't. Honestly, given how the ZL1 and ZL1 1LE performed, there wasn't a need for it in my opinion, but I know the gremlins/purists will say oh yes there should be one...
Honestly, GM dropped the ball so damn badly on this end of life on the Camaro that they literally sat outside and dumped money into a fire bin to stay warm.
Imagine the following....
Z06 powered Z/28 = 125k to start....
LT5 powered ZL1 & ZLE = 100k to start
Still offering the LT4 powered models...
And yes, the cars would have absolutely sold.... because MORE POWER always wins in this scenario...
