It is true, assuming you have a 2024 (and not a 2014 your signature indicates).

If you want OEM, your options are listed here: https://accessories.chevrolet.com/se...=432&year=2024 (none of these seem to be in the black diamond color of your paint).

Aftermarket rock guards may eventually catch up to the 2024 color palette, but at the moment I don't know of any company that sells their kits in GLK.
