Probably does have a big part in it. When I got my SS Fifty it was like $33K back in 2019, granted I know the market was a lot different then, but now with them being at $50K+ with terrible interest rates, they're a lot less appealing. The only reason I even got a 23 truck was the promo interest rate made my payment cheaper than the 2020 I had, and even then it's still more than I like paying. Hindsight is always 20/20, but if I could go back in time I'd have just kept my SS and gotten an old cateye or something and paid cash for it as a daily. Even with 300k miles it'd probably last longer than these newer model trucks with all the AFM/auto shut off crap.
