Wow, guess a lot of people buying it because of a similar reason..
*ahem* I bought mine because I found out the Camaro was going out of production. The pending doom of V8 cars was part of that as well. I'd always wanted a nice new car, and it seemed like my time was up. I'm a Chevy (formerly Pontiac) guy, so the obvious choice to me was the Camaro (not to mention I think they're just straight up a nicer car).
When I found out I could afford the trim I really wanted, well, twist my rubber arm.
I had a 4th Gen Firebird before this and I gotta say, felt so fitting to upgrade my LT1 to a brand new LT1
