I know there is a TSB for 2017 automatic SS Camaro's for a software update that corrects some random CEL's. But this shouldn't apply to your car.

If you haven't lost any fluid, I would disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes to reset the codes (unless they are permanent codes), then drive the car and see if the codes come back. If they do, then there is an issue and you should bring the car in.

But these two codes are basically gear ratio codes. The computer is looking at engine rpm, the ratio of the current gear, and the output shaft rpm (where the reluctor is attached). If the output shaft speed doesn't agree with the calculation it throws an error for that gear.

Since it's a 2017 I would check the reluctor as a relatively simple first step. The service bulletin is printable and you could take it to a shop. The speed sensor looks easy to remove and then you just see if you can move the reluctor with a screwdriver or something. It should be torqued on there rock solid.

Thank you, I appreciate your help. I will be taking it to a shop to have them check the trans fluid first and then change it out with the syncromax from Royal Purple, Ill also see if the can check out the reluctor and the speed sensor.

Also not sure if it could be the issue, but my battery was weak the other day in the cold, and the car barely started. Right after I got the check engine light ...
