Happy New Year All!

I'm new to the forum have a 2023 Camaro with the LT1 engine and 10 speed auto. I realize the vehicle engineers usually set the break in parameters, however 1500 miles seems like an unusually long break-in period to keep the speed under 80 MPH and the RPM's under 4000. These cars are often not daily drivers (At least in the Northeast U.S.) therefore 1500 miles can take a long time to reach. Have most of you stuck to these recommended parameters and any thoughts/knowledge why such a long break-In period?
