I wouldn't call turn-in with the PS4S "squishy", we need to be more nuanced here. It's squishier than the SC3 or other track focused tires, but it's not like you're in a 2015 Dodge SUV when trying to corner fast, these differences are very small.

A similar point can be made about its dry traction on the street, sure, it may not hook quite as well from a dig as a drag radial and may start (progressively) letting go in a corner sooner than more "rigid" tires, but it's still up there in the 98th or 99th percentile in these aspects.

What is not very small is the wet (and even cold) pavement advantage of the PS4S, so if that is a consideration, the SC3 should be out immediately. The Cup 2s are racing tires that are not good for the street in the rain either, they are a competition for the SC3 with similar characteristics. As I said, the SC3 is magic on the track, once it has enough heat, it feels like it's glued to the asphalt.

Two (or more) sets of wheels and tires is where it's at if someone wants the best for both the street and the track IMO.
