The install was easy. I put a screw at one end through the zl1 side skirt into the factory plastic rocker and used double sided tape the rest of the way. Almost 10k miles later and no issues, however it is advised to use rivets all the way through. I didn't want to put holes into the car when it was brand new, but if the tape starts to loosen I may look at doing rivits or a stronger / wider double sided tape.
I installed the DWS06+ within the first couple hundred miles on the car as I knew I wouldn't be tracking the car and didn't want to worry in the cold months, and I am very happy I made the change. They handle really well, and I can continue to drive the car year round as long as there is no salt / snow.
