This right here is why I love the 2020+ style. The 16-18 looked too much like a 5th Gen 14/15. It didn’t evolve much in looks. Still a good looking car but I can see the average car buyer ignoring it because it looked too much like the old body style. The 2020+ imho is the necessary evolution I feel the Camaro needed to go forward.

Human beings HATE change. I believe that’s the biggest reason a lot of 16-18 guys don’t like the 2020+. I too was one of them but eventually the 2020+ grew on me and became my favorite front end on a modern camaro (the SS’s at least).

When the then “New” mustang came out in 2015 I HATED that it deviated away from the retro looks. 5 years later I was shopping for one (ended up with a 2016 Camaro 1SS instead). We are creatures of habit and do not like change. Saw one car magazine rag on the new s650 Mustang for not changing much aesthetically.
