I'm wondering how GM knows that they will have enough ZL1 LT4s. Unless they just decided they are going to make X amount of convertibles and coupe's even if there are 1 or 1000 unfilled allocations on the table afterwards.

I guess it gives the Camaro LT4 builders more time to focus on the Blackwing and Escalade V LT4s.
