A/C and heater works just fine. It's not out in the wild very much so I deem that there's no need for tint. YMMV.

Nothing is illegal until you get caught. Just can't be crying if you get pinged for illegal tint. Worse yet, in South Carolina they make you prove you removed the illegal tint as well as fining you. Double whammy.
