RobZL1 - I agree, today it's very easy to go to a top shop and say I want x HP and this street drivability / setup and they will deliver you an awesome product. I feel it's a niche that some people just fall into, when others will be more than happy the same type of car with no extra badging but still have monster power under their foot!
CW3SF & NicKey - I wonder that as well, I myself don't like the look. I assume non-ZL1 due to the fact that they really just need the Camaro base model to match the build they are doing. So why go with a more expensive ZL1 when they just start ripping most the engine parts off and replacing them. I also agree, this is not the same factory muscle car builds like back in the day.
65ffr - I think the word "worth" is subject to the eye of the beholder. Meaning, any Dodge, to me would be wroth less than any Chevy Camaro. I'm not a Dodge guy, So none are "worth" it to me. Speaking of the general buyers market however, there is always someone that has enough money that doesn't need much to convince themselves something is "worth it" !
